Fun Facts about the Model T

*The Model-T had a 20 horsepower four cylinder engine and reached about 45 miles per hour.

*It got about 13-21 miles per gallon and weighed 1200 pounds.

* The name “Lizzie” was one of the most popular nicknames out of dozens for the Model-T.
Henry Ford called the Model-T “The Universal Car”for being low cost, reliable car that can be easily maintained and also travel the poor roads of the era.
On May 26, 1927, Henry Ford and his son Edsel drove the 15-millionth Model T out of the factory.

!929 Ford Tri-Motor Airplane

We recently took a ride in a 1929 Ford Tri-Plane. The Ford Tri-Motor (nicknamed the “Tin Goose”) is an American three-engined transport aircraft. Production started in 1925 by the companies of Henry Ford and ended on June 7, 1933. A total of 199 Ford Trimotors were made 18 have survived with 8 of those still flying.
