Napoleon’s Sister
I am always amazed at the delicate details and vivid colors of these old paintings. This was done by a french artist Rene-Theodore-Bertlon in 1812 of Princess Pauline Borghese youngest sister of Napoleon Bonaparte. This hangs in the Cummer Museum in Jacksonville Florida.

One of my favorite statues located in the Vatican Museum.The Discobolus of Myron (“discus thrower“, Greek: Δισκοβόλος, Diskobólos) is a Greek sculpture that was completed toward the end of the Severe period, circa 460–450 BC.

Every time that I have visited Vatican museum I am always amazed and in awe of the Sistine chapel and the magnificent work of Michelangelo.
The Creation of Adam is a fresco painting by Michelangelo , which forms part of the Sistine Chapel’s ceiling, painted c. 1508–1512. It illustrates the Biblical creation narrative from the Book of Genesis in which God gives life to Adam, the first man.
