Cyanotypes

Cyanotype is a photographic printing method invented in 1842 by astronomer Sir John Herschel. It uses two main chemicals: ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide. Sunlight or UV light is also needed. Together, these create a blue print on watercolor paper. To make an image, you start with a photographic negative.
