Books & Photos
I recently stopped by a local bookstore to look for vintage photography books. I could have easily stayed home and browsed a Kindle, Nook, or some other type of electronic reader but I like a real book. To me, there is something about the look and feel of holding a real book. I often underline and write notes in the margins, something I find difficult in an electronic book.
Photography can be like that, most of our photos are in electronic bits of information that we view on a computer or smart device. I find it rewarding to pull a photo album or book off the shelf and relive the memory.

Hi, Tim, You’re so right about holding a physical book in your hands. There’s nothing like the feel and smell of a book. Also, what a wonderful book store you happened to stop at. The people at the Old Tampa Book Company are really great. BTW, I only started following you, but in perusing your site I find your photography wonderful.
Thank you!
I must admit to reading lots of books on my iPhone. Its just easy reaching into my pocket for my phone as I wait at the doctors office or something like that. However, having a book to read is so much more relaxing. And gosh, there is no replacement for looking at photographs printed in a book.
