Glass Negatives

I like to collect glass negatives; they  are antique photographic plates on which an image is captured as a negative on a thin sheet of glass rather than on flexible film. Popular from the 1850s to the 1920s, they yield incredibly sharp, detailed images and were the dominant medium for early professional and amateur photography. These  photos are from glass negatives from over a hundred years ago. I wonder if our images will be around in a hundred years.
