I like to collect glass negatives. These are old photographic plates where the image appears as a negative on a thin sheet of glass instead of film. From the 1850s to the 1920s, they were popular because they produced sharp, detailed pictures and were the main way people took photos back then. The photos here come from glass negatives that are more than a hundred years old. I wonder if our own images will last that long.
