A stereoscope is a device for viewing stereoscopic pair of separate images, depicting left-eye and right-eye views of the same scene, as a single three-dimensional image. They were very popular from the 1850’s to 1920’s.
I need one of those! I don’t really collect stereographs, but do pick them up from time to time. Would be neat to see them as they were meant to be seen.
