Ever wonder why fire hydrants are different colors, it’s a code to indicate the amount of water that particular hydrant will provide.

While the process for making photographs may have changed over the years it is still all about capturing light.
Dogs see everything in muted beige. They probably don’t care.
But the one in front of our house is silver! So either that means all the water in the world or none at all. 🙂
